My handmade watches are made to order. The case, back and dial are all made from Sterling silver. They are struck with full English hallmarks.
My silver watches give the opportunity to own a truly unique, bespoke, handmade watch made to your own requirements.
I offer two sterling silver watch models:
The "Ballotade" which is 33mm diameter with a single "T" bar fitting for the 20mm wide strap. It is elegant and retro in design.
The "Courbette" which is 38mm diameter with more conventional strap fitting, again 20mm wide.
Both models use the Miyota 8245 auto mechanical movement.
Both models are just over 9.5mm case height, and both have slightly domed Sternkreuz acrylic crystals.
They are elegant and stylish and reflect the bygone days of handmade watches. Each watch is handmade to order by Adam Mills in my Surrey workshop using only traditional methods and hand tools. The dials are hand engraved by traditional methods. Because of the handmade nature , no two watches are exactly the same - no CAD or CNC is used, only traditional hand tools.
As standard I offer silver grained dials or the dials can be black (oxidised silver) with the borders and batons enamelled - typically white, but I can do any colour to order.
The straps are best quality Italian handmade lizard skin. They come in a beautiful range of colours. Each watch is delivered in a stunning highly lacquered wooden box.
I can offer a hand engraving service as required for the dials or backs.
Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
Your watch will be a one off unique timepiece. handmade watches
No two watches are exactly the same as only traditional hand tools are used. I can make dials to your requirement and can include artistic hand engraved designs.
The well proven Miyoya 8245 auto mechanical movement is an 11 1/2 ligne movement with 21 jewells. The running time is 42 hours fully wound. Of course the watch stays fully wound when worn continually as movement causes the auto wind mechanism to wind the mainspring.

Review by Michael Hall - watch collector and fine art dealer:
These fine time pieces represent the latest offerings from Adam Mills' workshop, specialising in bespoke individual watches for the most discerning of clientele.
The 38mm Courbette and the 33mm Ballotade clearly write the next chapter of his work.
The house of Adam Mills remains true to its roots, with elegance and simplicity always at the heart of its design. However, we now see a different direction, with a clear nod to the military instrument. Reminiscent of gauges from a submarine perhaps, the dial achieves its primary goal in delivering total clarity to the wearer.
Comfort and style is then achieved with bespoke hand made Italian lizard skin straps, availably in a diverse array of colours.
The colour options continue with unique silver dials being available in a grained finish or oxidised with enamelled borders and batons to individual taste. These are protected by a slightly domed acrylic crystal surrounded by a polished bezel.
The ever reliable Miyota 8245 movement ensures fully automatic and accurate timekeeping, housed in an elegant case hewn from solid Sterling silver and bearing full English hallmarks.
An engraving service is also available to each proud owner, to add that individual and personal touch to what is already the epitome of bespoke.
Each piece is then beautifully presented in a highly figured and polished wooden dress box, that is appropriate to the watch that it proudly houses.
The Courbette and the Ballotade are clear in their design approach. Always elegant and now with a nod to retro simplicity.
The watches say both style and class, retaining a hint of gentlemanly restraint, if only for the lucky few. It is unlikely that you will ever find two identical examples.
Michael Hall.
